- Speaker: Brad Cotton, MD
Dr. Cotton has worked 45 years as a street paramedic in Cleveland. Through a winding career, he has held many positions - first as an emergency department technician, then emergency RNand finally an emergency medicine physician. His education includes graduating from Kent State University with a BSN in 1982, receiving an MD degree from The Ohio State University in 1991, completing an emergency medicine residency at The Ohio State University in 1994. He has been a lifelong activist for social and economic justice. He is an active member of Physicians for a Naitonal Health Program and former exec board member of the Ohio Single Payer Action Network. He is a Democratic candidate for the Ohio House of Representatives District 12.
