- Speaker: Dr. Quatez Scott (he/him; hear his name here)
Dr. Quatez Scott (he/him) serves as Assistant Dean for Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity in Agriculture in the College of Agricultural Sciences (CAS) at Colorado State University. In this capacity, Dr. Scott oversees CAS’ structural efforts to promote inclusive and welcoming learning/working environments for students, faculty, administrators, staff, and community partners. He has over a decade of experience in higher education, including areas such as housing and residence life, cultural resource centers, inclusive excellence, teaching and learning, and advancement. Dr. Scott earned his Ph.D. at The University of Toledo in Foundations of Education: History of Education. His research interests explore antiracism and racial equity in higher education, DEI Leadership and development, student political movements, and college student’s academic identity development. In addition to his duties at CSU, Dr. Scott is an adjunct instructor in Organizational Leadership and African American Studies at Wright State University (Ohio).
