Following an extraordinary public hearing conducted by Cleveland City Council's Health and Human Services Committee on Monday, May 22, 2006 SPAN was informed that Council will vote Monday, June 5, 2006 at its 7 p.m. meeting on endorsing the Health Care For All Ohioans Act. There was a great turnout for the hearing and now it is even more important that as many people as possible be there to show support on June 5 for this critical vote. It will be held in Council's chambers on the second floor of City Hall, East 6th and Lakeside.

(SPAN Cleveland Chapter's regular monthly meeting will be held at the usual place immediately following the vote. The main point on the agenda will be planning for Dave Pavlick's Walk for Health Care Justice.)
