All Washington County residents who support the right of all Ohioans to health care are urged to attend a meeting to form a Washington County Chapter of SPAN.
The meeting will be held at the Betsey Mills Club,
800 Fourth St., Marietta, in the Parlor Room. There is free parking and the lot on the side of the building is beside the Parlor Room. There are no steps at this entrance.
We need twenty people to start a new chapter. Please spread word to friends and family who support health care with no co-pays, no deductibles, and no exclusions.
The current five petition circulators in Washington County and others who attended a meeting at the Washington County Library last month were enthusiastic about Washington County having its own chapter. Announcements for this meeting are being submitted to the Marietta Times and the Marcolian newspapers.
There will be an opportunity to sign the petition to put the Health Care for All Ohioans Act on the ballot. We are also seeking more petition circulators in Washington County. You can make a difference!
